I love the mention of the St. Pat’s mens league and I would rather watch those games because every so often you were actually entertained by the characters in the league. The NBA has a terrible product and the Knicks are the bottom of the barrel. They better hope they pull off Lebron next year.

Is it that once they get over a million bucks a season that they’re “above” hustling? Too important? Eddie made a point about high school sports recently that hit the nail on the head… everyone’s trying as hard as they can for nothing more than their love of the game. Heaven forbid a coach sits a multimillionaire superstar for not hustling.

I confess, I have watched the Knicks, too. However, a few years ago I watched the whole season, then I stopped in March. The last Isiah season I couldn’t take it any longer in January. Last season was about the same. This season, I can’t make it through November. Here’s what I don’t understand…how hard is it to get a bunch of guys that will give it their all every night. You know, diving for loose ballls, hustle, never quitting. I so love watching old videos of the Patrick Ewing teams. Someday maybe we’ll be there again.
