Clemson Athletic Department to Upgrade Memorial Stadium with Daktronics Integrated Video, Scoring and Sound System Friday, 15 June 2012, 8:21 pm

Daktronics Inc. of Brookings, SD in conjunction with the Clemson University Athletic Department are pleased to announce the upcoming addition of an integrated video, scoring and sound system for Memorial Stadium. The new state-of-the-art light emitting diode (LED) system will be installed prior to the 2012 college football season.

Clemson Football Program Lauded for APR Score Second Straight Year Thursday, 14 June 2012, 8:44 pm

The Clemson football and golf programs were both honored Thursday when the NCAA released its Academic Performance Public Recognition Awards. Both Clemson programs rank among the top 10 percent of all programs nationally in terms of APR scores (Academic Progress Rate).

Dabo’s All In Team Foundation is partnering with AnMed Health in hosting the 2012 Dabo Swinney Ladies Clinic featuring “Lady Legends of Clemson.” The event will be held Saturday, July 21. Check-in starts at 7:30 a.m. in Littlejohn Coliseum with the official program kicking off at 9:00 a.m. The day’s events will finish at approximately 4:00 p.m. in Death Valley.

Zimmerman Named to NFF Hampshire Honor Society Wednesday, 30 May 2012, 2:29 pm

Dawson Zimmerman, the starting punter on Clemson’s 2011 ACC Championship team, has been named to the National Football Foundation Hampshire Honor Society. Zimmerman is the first Clemson football player named to the Hampshire Honor Society, which began in 2007.

Brian Wofford Dies in Accident Saturday, 19 May 2012, 3:29 pm

Former Clemson wide receiver Brian Wofford died Friday morning when the motorcycle he was riding was involved in an accident in Moore, SC. Wofford, 34, was struck by an automobile at the intersection of Reidville Road and Plateau Street near Highway 417 at 11:15 AM.
